Consent isn't black and white
‘Yes’ means yes and ‘no’ means no, right?
So consent isn’t that black and white. Like most things, it exists on a spectrum from full consent 🟢 through to force 🔴. Read on to find out more.

If someone threatens you or forces you to engage in any sexual activity against your will, then this is sexual assault or rape. New laws of ‘affirmative consent’ in VIC also suggest that anything in the yellow to red sections (compliance, pressure, coercion or force) is also assault.
